Overview
The EPISHIP GLC Templates API allows you to manage General Ledger Coding (GLC) templates programmatically. You can develop applications that automate the creation, retrieval, and updating of GLC templates, facilitating accurate financial coding and cost allocation across your shipping operations.

EPISHIP App
EPISHIP’s application interface provides a visual management tool for GLC templates, allowing finance and operations teams to define coding rules, view associated companies, and audit template configurations.
EPISHIP API
The REST API that enables the programmatic management of GLC templates. It supports operations such as listing templates, exporting configurations to CSV, and importing or updating templates from external data sources.
Authentication
Secured via Bearer tokens in the Authorization header, ensuring that sensitive financial coding data is accessible only to authenticated users and applications with the necessary permissions.
GLC Management
A core component for organizing financial data, allowing templates to be linked to specific Company IDs. This ensures that shipping costs are correctly allocated to the appropriate general ledger accounts automatically.
What can users do with the EPISHIP GLC Templates API?
Users can use the EPISHIP GLC Templates API to perform common workflows, such as:
- Retrieve a paginated list of all available GLC templates
- Filter template lists by Company ID
- Export specific GLC template configurations to CSV format
- Import new GLC templates or update existing ones via CSV upload
- Soft-delete obsolete GLC templates to maintain system hygiene
