The purpose of this article is to guide Merchant Admin user types in the workflow of creation of additional companies as sub-companies within a given website.
Overview
A company can be created through the dashboard or through the api, where each record is created individually, each field specified. In addition to this, a bulk import feature is available that serves to accelerate this workflow.
Getting started

- Processing Fee Template. The processing fee (mark up directive) specified at the merchant-level. This value can be common, as in the same template applied by default to new Shippers or specific to the given Shipper. Refer to related field child_shipper_parent_processing_fee_mud_id detailed below.
- Company Global ID. The unique value that defines each company, in the case that the Account was previously established within the customer relationship manager application. Refer to the related field company_id_global detailed below Note: if the global_id for a given company is not set, a new record will be established and associated to a new global_id.
