@ship New Reseller Website

The intent of this video is to guide the steps included within the creation of a resellers on @ship.

Steps to Create a New Reseller Website

1. Access the Setup Form
Navigate to the shortlink proofsupport.com/fnr to open the “new reseller” getting started form.

2. Complete Basic Information
Fill out the form fields for your company, leaving the CRM field blank if needed. When entering the program manager’s name, separate multiple people with a comma and a space. Provide a valid phone number, such as a cell phone, for the program manager.

3. Define Technical Requirements
Specify your homepage and marketing page URLs. Choose an app subdomain prefix to use for the platform, such as “go”, “app”, or “web”.

4. Configure Domain Forwarding
Access your domain provider’s DNS settings and create a custom CNAME record for your chosen app subdomain. Point this record to the value s1.epiship.com.

5. Create a Dev Instance
Set up a playground environment by creating another CNAME record (e.g., using “dev” or “demo”) and pointing it to s1dev.epiship.com. Check the confirmation boxes on the form once these records are created.

6. Set Up System Email
Enter a system email address in the form and click the provided link to verify your domain ownership. Make sure you create an email forwarder in your domain settings to capture any emails or customer replies sent to this address.

7. Configure Credit Card Processing
Log in to your Stripe account and locate your API keys in the dashboard. Copy your “live” keys (both the secret key and the public key) and paste them into the form. Ensure the keys explicitly say “live” in the format rather than “test”.

8. Upload Branding Elements
Provide your company logo in a vector format (such as .ai or .eps) so the team can manipulate it into the required sizes. Alternatively, you can upload the specific image dimensions requested (32×32, 133×112, 484×212). Finally, select a primary theme color for your site.

9. Link Website Pages
Input the URLs for your standard website pages, including Privacy Policy, Terms and Conditions, Help, Contact, and social media links. If you are missing a document or want to reuse elements from an existing page, you can simply input a pound sign (#).

10. Submit and Launch
Tap submit to send your completed form to the support portal. Account setup typically takes about 24 hours, after which you will have a kickoff call to move into the testing and launch phase.
