The Middle East is a region that consists of Saudi Arabia and its adjacent countries. The Mediterranean Sea borders the Middle East to the west and is a staple trade route to and from Europe. Industries of the Middle Eastern region include oil and oil-related products, agriculture, cotton, cattle, dairy, textiles, and leather products. Saudi Arabia is the largest country in this region and ranks 20th in the world in terms of goods exported.
